This policy explains how Northwest Homegrown Music Festival (NHMF) handles information submitted through its website interest forms and email-update signup.

NHMF is in development, focused on creating an opportunity for developing and independent Pacific Northwest musicians to showcase their talent on a bigger stage and in front of a larger audience.

Information you provide

The interest forms collect your name and email address, plus information you choose to share. Depending on the form, this may include an organization or artist name, location, phone number, website link, selected interests and comments.

The newsletter signup requires an email address; first name is optional. We also record your consent and subscription status.

Inquiries and email updates

We use interest-form information to respond to inquiries, discuss participation or partnerships, and support festival development and planning.

Newsletter signup is separate. We send occasional NHMF updates only after you select the signup form’s consent checkbox and confirm your email address through the confirmation email sent by Hostinger Reach. Submitting an interest form does not subscribe you.

Reach records email delivery, opens and link clicks. We use these reports to understand delivery and reader engagement.

You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter or contact us to change your email preferences.

Services and external links

Hostinger provides the website, forms and email services, processing information on our behalf to deliver those services. Hostinger’s privacy policy describes its services.

Website services may process technical information needed to deliver pages and forms. We have not configured Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or Hotjar on this website.

Our Facebook and LinkedIn links take you to third-party services. Their privacy policies apply when you visit or use them.

Retention and your choices

We keep information for the purposes described here, including inquiry follow-up, festival planning and subscription management. The period depends on the continuing need for the information and any applicable recordkeeping requirements.

An unsubscribe record may be retained to help prevent further newsletter emails being sent to an address that opted out.

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of information you provided, update contact preferences, or raise a privacy concern. We will consider requests in light of the information held and applicable requirements.
