GET INVOLVED
HELP BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT
The Northwest Homegrown Music Festival is being shaped through people, ideas, experience and regional participation.
If this initiative speaks to you, we want to hear how you would like to become part of it.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
THERE'S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO HELP BUILD A FESTIVAL
The Northwest Homegrown Music Festival is still in development.
This is the time to begin listening to artists, volunteers, businesses, community organizations, industry professionals, people with hands-on experience in event planning, production, logistics or operations, and those who simply believe in the idea.
🫵 WE CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU! 🫵
We're not looking for formal proposals.
Start by telling us who you are and what interests you about the initiative.
Tell us where your experience, ideas & enthusiasm can help.
TELL US HOW YOU'D LIKE TO BECOME INVOLVED!
ARTISTS & MUSICIANS
The Northwest Homegrown Music Festival is being developed in part to create meaningful opportunities for developing and independent Pacific Northwest musicians.
Introduce your music and tell us what meaningful festival opportunity could look like to you.
While formal artist submissions are not currently open, artists are encouraged to introduce themselves, share their work and tell us what kind of opportunity would help them take a genuine next step.
VOLUNTEERS
A festival depends on people who bring reliability, practical skills, local knowledge and care for the guest experience.
Share the skills, local knowledge or energy you may want to contribute as the initiative develops.
Volunteer roles have not yet been established, but early interest will help us understand the experience, availability and strengths people may want to contribute as planning moves forward.
VENDORS & LOCAL BUSINESSES
Food, merchandise, services and regional businesses can help make the Northwest Homegrown Music Festival feel connected to the place where it is held.
Help us understand the products, services and regional character you could bring to the experience.
We are not yet accepting vendor applications, but businesses, artisans, food providers and service professionals are invited to tell us what they do and how they may want to participate.
COMMUNITY
The Northwest Homegrown Music Festival is intended to grow through regional participation, not simply take place within a community.
Bring perspective, connections, professional experience or hands-on event knowledge that could help make the initiative stronger.
Community organizations, regional advocates, media professionals, members of the music industry and people with hands-on event planning, production, logistics, operations or project-support experience may see possibilities that are not visible from inside the project. If you have relevant experience, practical knowledge, a useful connection, a story to tell or simply a thoughtful perspective, we would like to hear from you—especially if you are interested in helping shape the initiative during its development stage.
MEDIA & MUSIC INDUSTRY
Media and music-industry professionals can contribute perspectives, experience and connections that are difficult to develop from inside a new initiative.
Introduce yourself and tell us how you may want to follow, cover or contribute to the Northwest Homegrown Music Festival.
Journalists, photographers, broadcasters, content creators, promoters, venue professionals, production specialists and all others are welcome to join the initiative.
SUPPORTERS & MUSIC FANS
A professional role is not required to become part of the conversation.
Share your thoughts, insights, and favorite experiences with us.
Music fans and general supporters can help build early momentum by following the Northwest Homegrown Music Festival, sharing the initiative with others, offering thoughtful feedback and telling us what would make the festival meaningful to them.
